What we keep

Only what you type in the form, and a few details about when you send it:

• If you want to buy: your email and ZIP code.
• If you want to sell: also your name, what you bake, and, if you give them, your WhatsApp or phone and your Instagram or Facebook.
• The language of the page, the date, and which link brought you (for example, a Facebook post) when the link says so.
• A fingerprint of your IP address, made with a secret key, only to stop mass submissions and to correct your details if you send the form again within an hour; it is deleted the next day. We don’t store your IP address in the list.

What we use it for

• To send you a welcome email and let you know when we open in your area.
• If you want to sell, so that Jorge, from ChefsCooking, can write to you by email or WhatsApp to learn what you bake.
• To decide where we start: we count how many neighbors sign up in each ZIP code.

Who else receives it

We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising. Only the services that run the list handle it:

• Supabase: receives the form and holds the list. Like any server, it logs technical details of each request, such as the IP address, and keeps those logs for one day.
• Resend: sends our emails and keeps a copy of each one, with its log, for 30 days.
• Vercel: hosts this site and, like any server, logs technical details of each visit, such as the IP address. Our emails load their images from Vercel too: opening one can show Vercel your IP address, like any visit.
• Google (Gmail): Jorge reads replies to our emails in his Gmail, and a notice with your details each time someone signs up (and another if someone signing up to sell corrects them), so he knows who signed up and can write to you. Those notices stay there even if you unsubscribe.

Cookies

This site uses no cookies, no advertising and no analytics tools. Your browser keeps, only while the tab is open, what you just typed (your name, email and ZIP code) to show it on the thank-you page, and which link brought you.

How long we keep it

Until we open in your area and let you know, or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first, except copies of emails already sent (see below).

Unsubscribing and deleting your data

Every automatic email from the list has an unsubscribe link. When you use it, we delete your email and everything you left with us right away, whether you signed up to buy, to sell, or both.

Copies of emails already sent stay where they arrived: in your inbox, in Jorge’s Gmail and, for its 30 days, at Resend.

You can also write to jlor3nzoc@gmail.com from the same address, and we delete it within 30 days at most.

The waitlist is for people 18 or older.

Changes

If we change what we collect or why, we update this page and its date before we do.
